2025 Regional Science and Engineering Fair- where innovation and creativity come alive in a fusion of brilliant minds and groundbreaking ideas!

I was honored to win the prestigious Grand Prize Award at the 70th annual Fairfax County Regional Science and Engineering Fair. More than 600 students presented their research projects in a wide variety of science and engineering fields. Projects were judged by more than 200 professionals and 40 professional organizations and businesses.

Celebrating Innovation at the 2025 Junior Science & Humanity Symposium – Greater Washington D.C.

What an absolutely fantastic event! I was thrilled to be invited as an oral presenter to share my exciting discoveries from my VISTA inhibitor research, and to top it off, I was chosen as an award winner!

VISTA inhibitor CA170 synergizes with KRAS vaccine in lung cancer – a single-cell RNA sequencing analysis

Immune checkpoint VISTA suppresses the immune system’s ability to fight cancer. By using a VISTA inhibitor like CA170, this suppression is reduced, allowing immune system to better recognize and attack cancer cells. The KRAS vaccine targets specific mutations in lung cancer cells, helping the immune system focus its efforts. While CA170 is antigen-independent, KRAS vaccine is antigen specific. Our single-cell RNA sequencing data analysis reveals that when these two therapies are combined, a synergy is created producing a stronger, more focused immune response against lung cancer, offering more insight into effective immunotherapies.
